Description: Patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) face stigma, both in their personal lives and in clinical settings. Thus, finding ways to develop their trust in a care team is both challenging and critical. Integrated care settings must find ways to engender trust in OUD patients, and these settings have some unique advantages for doing so, as compared to non-integrated settings. The presenters will look at ways to develop the trust of OUD patients in integrated care settings, focusing on both things to include and things to avoid in order for a clinic to meet this goal.
