The Mini-Teach Series are recorded for your convenience. For September, we are highlighting: “Building Community Partnerships” by our presenter: Dr. Brenda Freeman.
Series Description: Partnerships are a distinct type of working relationship between departments or between departments and other organizations. Partnerships have reciprocity, shared goals, and a stable formal structure. The purposes of this mini-teach are 1) to distinguish between partnerships and other forms of relationships between organizations; 2) to describe the characteristics of effective partnerships; 3) to explore the challenges in establishing or maintaining partnerships, and 4) to offer examples of partnerships in American Indian Alaska Native communities.
