Apply for the BH2I Program

To advance the IHS mission to enhance the health of American Indian and Alaska Native people, the BH2I program promotes the efforts of tribal communities to integrate behavioral health services into primary care settings. Grantees may also use BH2I funds to integrate nutrition services, diabetes care, and chronic disease management with behavioral health care.

The BH2I funding opportunity is now available. You can apply until February 2, 2022.

Who’s eligible?

This 5-year funding opportunity is open to:

  • Federally recognized tribes
  • Tribal organizations
  • Urban Indian organizations

IHS plans to award 15 grantees.
